  S/o hair touching, you know DS has a thing with hair touching, right?  Like borderline obsession.  Future fetish. 
  
  We had my company picnic Saturday, and DD instantly made friends with another girl, based on their shared love of the bouncy castle, bouncy slide, and ice cream truck.  When the time came to eat non-ice cream-based food, this girl asked if DD would sit with her, so we sat alongside her family.  She was black, which becomes relevant because DS really, really wanted to get his hands on her braids.  You could see it all over his face.  And I'm thinking weird hair obsession + sticky toddler hands + past hair pulling + RPOTD = no way, no how.  So I spent the next several minutes trying to distract him from her hair, until she and Wooz finished their corn dogs and ran back to the bouncy slide.
  
  Meanwhile, his teacher told me he especially prefers "dark, shiny hair," which I think may be code for Asian hair.  I'm going to find natural hair extensions stashed under his mattress someday, aren't I?  [shudder]
