The best hashtag will be the one that is easy for your guests to remember. Creativity will reduce the chance guests will make use of it. Stick to something basic like @MillersMarried8/8, MatrimonialMillers, or MerryMarriedMillers.

Seriously, figuring out a hashtag should not be stressful. You do not even need one at all.

It's also just kind of weird because we don't know you. Simple is best with hashtags, but I'd probably come up with something more fun and personal for a real life friend. Why don't you ask your real life friends?

1. What is it about hashtags that make uncreative people feel like they all of a sudden need to be marketing geniuses or artists? It's just an f'ing marker for people to put on their photos so you can find them - it doesn't need to be your dying legacy for the world to remember you by.

2. Why would you literally go up to a bunch of strangers and make the first thing you say to them "Here's my last name and wedding date - you be creative for me!" Go walk up to a bunch of people at the grocery store and see how well that plays out. If you want creative, wouldn't it make sense to incorporate actual things about you and wouldn't your friends and family be a better resource of that than a bunch of strangers who literally only know your last name and wedding date?

I just tried this out for fun to see what they would have come up with for our wedding and it's pretty centered around women changing their last name. There were about 2 we could have used. Overall bummer.

Also, one of them was, no joke, #It's[DH's last name]Time. Our last name isn't Miller, but it made me think of this thread.

We also got the merger one that someone referenced in another thread, and it was super stupid.

If you guys are bored and looking for something silly and immature to do, I recommend putting dirty words in the ww hashtag generator... my MOH and I laughed for like an hour one night because dirty words + the "merger" option produced some hilarious results.
