Dear H,

Sorry I was a grumpy pants this morning. You singing "Happy" in the car while I tried to maintain my unhappiness at bleeding profusely did sort of make my day...the song that is (and the fact that somehow you have managed to listen to a song a million times and still not know any of the words except "because I'm happy" so you just make up random lyrics that don't make any sense...that is a gift, H).

You must buy these immediately (LINK). They will save you lots of money on OPK tests and pregnancy tests. Keep some expensive ones on hand, just in case, but use these because they are cheaper!

Dear City In Which I Live,

Seriously?!? A $4,000 special assessment to "fix" our sidewalks when they aren't broken but just have some minor cracking (and I do mean minor) is BS. As is the damage you left taking out two of our "dead" trees (which, hell, probably caused the cracks in the first place). So now I have two gaping holes where trees once were (think THAT might be a bit of a tripping hazard?) and a $4,000 bill to fix a non-tripping hazard. You guys have nothing better to do.
