Has anyone heard of this website? Apparently its a place where you can submit what you are looking for and the people who run the website will help match you with a person whose wedding was cancelled (for whatever reason I'm assuming) and they are looking to recoup some of the costs/avoid paying cancellations. Couples who have decided not to marry/use their reservations can also submit their wedding to "sell".
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I'm curious to know what you ladies think.
Re: Canceledwedding.com
Many years ago, my sister cancelled a wedding 2 weeks prior to wedding date. Most of the vendors allowed her to rebook with them within a year for little or no loss of deposits. Luckily, my parents had a friend who's daughter got pregnant and wanted to do a quick wedding before the baby came, so she basically took over all my sister's vendors for her upcoming wedding. My parents were able to reduce their losses and the friend got a much cheaper wedding. But, not everyone will conveniently know someone planning a quick wedding, so I think that site is a good idea.
