Cashman no longer at Aria effective June 13, 2015!!

Just got an email from my wedding coordinator at Aria. Effective June 13, 2015, Aria is switching from Cashman to Imagine Studios for all wedding photography and videography!

No idea if this is for all M Life properties or just Aria.

Also, if any of you are assigned to Erika Neiderberger at Aria, she is going home to Germany for the month of July. This only affects July and early August brides.

We booked our wedding at the Cosmo but we were torn between them and the Aria. This would have made my decision a little more difficult. The tipping point for the Cosmo was that they have Gin and Sakes as one of their approved photographers. I had wanted to book them before we even started looking at venues so hearing that pushed me away from the Aria and Cashman.

That is great news; haven't heard of anyone ever dropping Cashman. I wonder if they'll also implement an outside vendor fee option.

This is bittersweet for me.
We are from the UK and have just sent out all our invites for our wedding reception over here which include the webcasting address which has now changed due to imagine studios taking over. It's actually quite embarrassing not to mention very annoying considering the cost of invitations and postage!
Pissed off at the moment!

On the other hand hopefully the pictures will be cheaper?! And better quality photographers?!

Pretty much a guarantee that you'll get better quality. Pricing might be a little bit more affordable, but that I'm not totally sure.

We'll better quality pictures are a bonus! I was worried about cashman and aria won't budge on letting Todd from bently and wilson take our ceremony pictures. I remember @Valeriecruz82 had imagine studios for her ceremony and the pictures are amazing! Does anyone have any idea on pricing?

@laurenlozzy...don't let it bother you. I changed my whole venue and weekend after I had mine printed

nobody really noticed and I just emailed/Facebooked everyone the updated info. We also put all the info on our Facebook group and wedding website. Nobody minded...I giggle now overtime I see photos of our invites

I got Marcela to send me a price list of the extras that Imagine Studios will provide. I don't think they are any cheaper then what Cashman were charging, actually I think they are more expensive. I was told $200 for an extra hour with Cashman and Imagine studios are charging $250.

I have tried to copy and paste it and upload the file but it wont let me do it on my Chromebook. Not sure if this is because its a Chromebook or if there are some privacy settings on the PDF which is a bit annoying. They will only give price of all your photos on a disc and the rights on asking (and even then it says its a quote!). Hope this helps anyone.

It seems that Imagine studios are contracted also to Ceasars, The Linq and Flamingo (this is just what I have read on their website so sorry if that's an error).

I Have contacted imagine studios direct, not interested in the extra hours with them as we have Todd booked but it is $250 an hour with them.

We are sticking with the 45mins included in our package and the quote I have been given for a cd with all pictures on is... wait for it... $800

I don't know if there's any way you can haggle with them but I doubt it will be to even a semi reasonable price

Does anyone have any experience or Tips on this ? X

Wonwsers. I've just emailed them now to ask the same thing so will be interesting to see if they are consistent with their pricings. I suppose it's an easy way to make money because they know it's a really important celebration that they have exclusive photographic rights to so they can basically get away with charging anything for the photos!
I'm horrified at that price but because we aren't having that many guests and once I see the photos (if they are like the ones they have on the website as samples) I will probably (against my better judgement) get sucked into paying that for them as we aren't having any other professional photography for the day.

They are so pushy I've just received an email back from them after I was requesting different prices of things and she's going on about adding it all to my package and talking to my wedding co-ordinator! Erm?! No I'm asking for quotes!
I'm very unhappy. They are also pushing for buying the disc in advance so prices don't increase!!! Disgusting!
I have emailed my wedding co-ordinator about it as I remember another bride not having to use Cashman so I've got over a year to send disgruntled emails and letters to their management if I have to to see if I can get out of having to use imagine. This email from Imagine has actually played right into my hands!

@kgales1 I'm using Gin and Sake for all of my outside photography for the day, other than the ceremony at Aria. It actually screwed me up a bit because I wanted my reception at Cosmo but since I am not getting married at Cosmo or going through their wedding dept, Gin and Sake is contractually not allowed to take wedding photos there for receptions, etc so I rebooked the reception somewhere else. I fell in love with the Aria long before I even learned about this whole Cashman monopoly BS so I accepted that.

@silverblade005 We are mind twins! I have permission for G&S to sit and take photos in the ceremony as long as they stay seated and out of the primary (Cashman now Imagine) way.

Gah I'm having such a nightmare with them and crossed wires. They have added the extra hour of photography to my package even though I only asked for a quote to see how much it was going to be. I hate having to be mean in emails but this is seriously stressing me out already

doesn't bode well for a good working relationship! I have no patience for any of this either. I use all my patience up at work!

I sent a crappy email and managed to get my wires uncrossed. Doesn't help that Marcela is on holiday and the girl from Imagine has also gone on holiday who i was emailing so emails were sent and I responded but didn't get an out of office to let me know that they hadn't been read!
Anyway it's sorted now and I can put my bridezilla back in the box!
