Make up and hair in North Jersey- Suggestions pls!

I am looking for someone who knows what they are doing and yet doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions ladies? I am in NJ and would like to go for a trial in a few months. Also how soon should I book? Thank you Smile

    She does both airbrush and traditional makeup and will travel to your location as well. She also works with a number of hairstylists and could easily refer you to someone in her network.

    Current pricing is $100, which includes false lashes. When I booked her in 2009 she was among the more affordable artists on this message board.

    I just went to a local salon for my hair. I had an expensive trial at a salon nearby and didn't like it, so I called around and found a place that only charged $40 ... had a trial, liked it and went with her. Alter Hair Salon in Bayonne.

    Do you have a price point for hair and makeup? If you can tell us your budget then we can give more specific recommendations.

    I am using Jillyan Scarpa for makeup and Mandy Liento for hair.  They both are extremely talented!  I booked my hair and makeup around 11 months out.  It's better to do it early so you get your first choice.  The good/popular people tend to book up early.
