Yaaaaaaaay for "fake holidays" (as H calls any "observed" holiday I get off from work.)

Anya & I are chillin on the back porch.  She's sprawled out a few feet from me napping and I'm sitting here drinking coffee, playing on TK & TB, and watching the birds, rabbits and squirrels frolic through our yard.  I wish more mornings could be this relaxing.

Any 4th of July plans?  We have to (grumble) drive to my mom's later tonight for a cook-out.  I don't know if we're going to take the dog down and crash at my dad's or just come back super late and leave her home.

Tomorrow we have a meeting a 7 for some RP stuff on one of the games we play (Geeky, I know) and just general housework.

Sunday I'm having a SundayFunday craft-day with my MOH.

Monday I'll be sad I have to go back to work =(

Still no word on my grievance re: my promotion I put in for.  I'm still trying to stay optimistic though.

    Well, to top everything off, I got a head cold. A really bad head cold. It laughs at meds. H and I are stuck at home now because I'm slower than usual at accomplishing anything. Blech.

    @keptinstitches I woke up with a headcold too.  I feel like my head is floating. 

    No time off for me. So at work now, tonight we'll be celebrating my mom's birthday.  No plans for the weekend, so we'll see what happens.

    I'm working in the Hamptons tomorrow, and I really wanted to ask the girl I am going with if she wants to stay and hang out but I don't know anything about her and also she seems a little too serious if that makes sense. Like it'll be at least five hours before any fireworks so what if we don't get along or have anything in common? So I will probably just head back home and do.... something. I have no idea lol. BF comes back from Cali Sunday! So once he gets some rest we will reunite and go have dinner!

    Not American, so I work today. Tonight FI is paying the rest what he owes a lady from a fender bender and then we are heading to the mall. Deposit cheques and possibly pick up some bridesmaid gift stuff. Then it's just chill the rest of the night because we haven't spent much time together lately.

    Tomorrow we're heading to beach with some friends. Evening I may lazily start doing centerpiece stuff. I have some glitter tape to attach to flameless candles.

    Sunday we're helping FI's grandparents take out a tree and weeds then having lunch. Plus figuring out if FI's cousin is able to come to wedding. {her parents are moving to BC, her sister is out of town for a wedding and she lives 4hrs away}

    I am getting tired of busy weekends :(
