  Sorry to butt in, but I used Brizy Tait for my wedding, and I was really unhappy with her on the day of. I liked her during my trial, although she definitely tried to sell me a lot of products. She was running really late during my trial, and so I didn't get started until about half an hour after she told me to be there, which annoyed me a bit because I had to leave work an hour and a half early to make the appt, which she wouldn't do any later than 4. But she was sweet and seemed fun, had a cute studio, and did a good job with my hair and make-up, so I thought it would be fine.
  
  On the day of I felt she was rude, didn't want to listen to me when I asked her to change something, and it felt like she was annoyed at having to even be working. She had also given me completely wrong information when we were going over the schedule for the day of. She told me we needed to be at her studio at 11:30 am in order to get 3 bridesmaids, two mothers, and myself all done in time to be out by 3:30.  When I told her one of my bridesmaids needed to come later, because she was breastfeeding and didn't want to have to be away from the baby all day, Brizy told me to have her there by 2pm and she would be done in time.  When we got there at 11:30, she was surprised that we were missing a bridesmaid, and told me I needed to get her there soon, as we would all be done long before 2pm. 
  
  We ended up all being done around 1:15, and since I couldn't go home or to the wedding site, I had to go back to my friend's hotel.  I had to make multiple trips in the rain with my dress and veil, and by the time the actual ceremony started at 6pm, my lipstick was caking off, my face was shiny, and my hair had lost a lot of the curl.  She also spent a lot more time on me during my trial, and just really did not seem to want to put any effort into it on my wedding day. When I had a huge piece of hair sticking up, and asked her if she could tuck it in, she actually told me it was supposed to look that way since I wanted the curls to look natural. There was nothing natutal looking about it, and after I pushed, she eventually kind of pushed it down. It later came loose during the wedding.
  
  It rained all day on my wedding day and we had to move my dream outdoor wedding indoors, and still, the worst part of my day was having to deal with Brizy.  In the end, it all worked out and it wasn't a huge deal. But she really upset me on my wedding day, and for that I would never recommend her to anyone.

  Well to be honest nothing horrible has happened- I have just felt like she has been really really flaky the whole time I have dealt with her.
  
  When i first contacted her 9-10months ago she was totally cool with traveling onsite. Now that she has her new studio she has given me ALOT of pushback on that and says that she doesnt like to travel (its 10 minutes down the road..) and that she just wants to do everyone at her studio.
  
  I ask her questions that she just flat out doesn't answer- questions regarding the wedding day, like the time she thinks she needs to arrive for myself, 5 bridesmaids and 2 moms to all be ready on time..
  Then this week she informed me that she didn't like to work Sundays... well this I can understand and it wouldn't bother me usually except for the fact that we have swapped 9-10 emails talking about her doing my hair/make-up for my bridal portraits that are happening on a Sunday in January. She has 100% agreed to do that, said it wouldnt be a problem, then this week when we are discussing what time I am suppose to show up to the studio the day of my bridals first I get told that I need to be there 6 hours before my bridal portraits even start then when trying to tell her that i think thats way too early I get told "I dont work on Sundays".
  Basically, she has just been a hassle to deal with. Out of all my wedding vendors she has been my least favorite person that I have dealt with and I just have this really uncomfortable feeling about her. I just don't want to be stressed out about something as simple as makeup and hair on my wedding day!
  Plus I have looked into more reviews on her recently and I am just finding that no one is saying anything overly positive about her...
  Sorry for my rant, but thats why I am looking for someone new... I hope it helps.

  Thank you both meganrose and short2010.  I am very much a type "A" person and I know it will drive me absolutely crazy if on my wedding day we're not running according to schedule.  That she doesn't seem to be able to give a reliable estimate on how long it will take to get hair and makeup done, and doesn't stick to her own estimate really worries me.  That is exactly what I experienced last weekend--I told her that I needed to be finished by 9:45 a.m., and she said that she couldn't start until 9:15 but could get me out by 10:00 if not a few minutes earlier.  I was OK with that and just rearranged my schedule slightly.  I showed up on time, but it took her until nearly 10:30 to finish, making me late for my own bridal shower.  So it looks like it wasn't just an isolated incident, but a chronic problem.  I've already paid my deposit, but I might just look around and book someone else instead.  Losing my deposit is worth my sanity.  Thanks ladies!
