How long do you think you should wait before checking in on your dress order?
I ordered my wedding dress in early Novemeber 2014 for my October 2015 wedding. I was told by the retailer that it would take roughly 6-8 months to come in. In the past, things for me have always veered on the early side so as I just passed the 8 month mark, natural anxiety has kicked in that there might be a problem. I haven't heard from the boutique yet, but is this the norm wait time for a dress? How many days out do you need to start going to fittings or making alterations? I know the sooner the better, but when do you think the latest you can get a dress and still have time to make fit alterations is? Thanks for the input!
