Rock Candy - colors?

I'm doing rock candy escort cards for the reception...Like these:

At first I thought of using Pink and Orange colored ones... I was just about to order them now and I thought... would these turn our guests mouths pink or orange??? I doubt anyone would eat them right away...but you never know.

So my question is... should I not worry about it? they would look better in pink/orange or should I order them in the natural white/clear color and just tie them with orange or pink ribbon?

As a guest which would you prefer? As a bride which option do you think would look better?

I would go for your colors! I think that if someone wants to eat it they can and they will know th risk of their lips and tounge turning colors lol! It will probably just be the children right away anyways! Love this idea by the way!

that's exactly what I was thinking! I just couldn't imagine anyone choosing to eat it.. especially when there will be cake and a sweet table....

The kids I'm not worried about... they do things like that all the time! I'm pretty sure my son would be the first one... as long as the main pics are done I don't care...lol

Forget turning their mouths colors- that is an awesome idea! I say do your colors... but maybe blue and green too for the tropical vibe.

What a cute idea!! I say go with your colors...I think it will look great and be fun! If I were ther and did eat mine it would be later into the reception and then I think it would be funny if people mouths were pink!!

My vote is for colors also. I don't think it will be much of a problem if people eat them. If you were doing colors like blue and purple that would worry me more.

DEF colors. I think people will eat them but who cares. They will look AMAZING in your bright wedding colors.

I would definitely eat them! lol! But I would say go with the colors...if ppl are drinking blue/green/red drinks their mouths would turn that color too! lol!!

I vote go for your colors, but if it's a huge concern, maybe just pink candy with an orange ribbon? Pink wouldn't change anyone's mouth color too much I don't think.
