  First one.  I'd send a separate save the date magnet to the daughter at her parents' house.  She can pick it up and put it on her dorm fridge next time she comes to visit.

  
  

  Second one.  3 STDates to one house; one for woman and boyfriend, one for dad, one for brother.  Yes, while they might all share a fridge, they might prefer to put the STDate on a cork board in their bedroom or on their file cabinet in their office.  I think it's the easiest way to clearly define who is and who is not invited.

How are you going to handle the invite for this one? One invite for the household or two invites? If you do it as a household that eliminates the possibility of the +1 question for the daughter in case you were not going to give her one (assuming she's not in a serious relationship).

Yes, the household really only needs one magnet, but then this way it's clear on who is invited without writing a book on the envelope. You can put dad & brother on one if you need to save money. But I would send a seperate one to cousin & address it to Jane Smith & Bob Jones, leaving the kids names off.

  Thank you both for your suggestions!

  For the first, I'm going to send one for the family. The cousin is in her last year of college, but is going abroad (which is why she said send it her parents) If she has a SO by the time the invitations go out, I will send her one for herself and a +1.

  For the second one, I will be sending 3 STD. I just found out my uncle is engaged (obviously I am not too close to this side of the family) so he will get one +1, my cousin and her boyfriend will get one and her brother will get his own.

  
  

  Honestly, reading through all these boards has made planning so much easier!

  The uncle's fiancee is NOT a "plus one", she is his "Significant Other" and must be listed By Name on the STDate and invitation.  Please find out her name and include her on your uncle's STDate and invitation.

  @adk19, I am going to find out. I asked his daughter and she only knows her first name. (his relationship must be very new if his own daughter that he lives with does not know her last name) Anyways, I've enlisted in my moms help to find out.

  I have a question about addressing a save the date. One of my bridesmaids is single but I want to extend to her the option to bring a guest. I also want her to know that her 6 yr old son is welcome. How do I put all of that on an envelope?

  For the truly single person, you would address:

  
  

  Mary Smith and guest

  Johnny Smith

  
  

  If she's seeing someone in particular, you'd address him by name.
