Hi all,

We are interested in taking portraits at this park. Is anyone familiar with this park? I know it is very large, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some info. regarding the best places to take pics. We are looking for greenery + open shade (trees!). No buildings in background.

Your best bet might be to go to the park and scout a few locations for yourself.

I've lived near it for years. There's a nice little lake/pond in the center, that area should be good for shots.
