Evening Thread?

Good evening. I took the advice of some ladies on E and got some moscato wine to try so this is my first attempt at KUI (KUIing?). It' s pretty good wine.

FI and I went and got greek food for dinner and it was so good. It has been my go to for months now.

There was a greek food festival here about a month ago and I missed it. The baklava that the older ladies make (it's at a local church) is pretty much the greatest thing on Earth.

I have never tried to make it, but FI was asking about it tonight at dinner and I may consider giving it a try. Blue- is it difficult with all of the layers or is it a fairly easy recipe?

I could die happy drowning in tzatziki sauce. Good sauce though, not the crappy imitators.

i'm an effing mess. Acne to high hell, a post-pizza belly ache, and my allergies have been so bad that I had to remove my contacts and it takes me forever to get use to my glasses again. Besides that... Wilfred's on tonight!

Hmm, I've never used phyllo before so that might be a project for next weekend while FI is out of town in case it fails miserably.

Party was great. Lots of kids and I got a great tan. Maybe too much sun since im really tired, but Im having another surgery tomorrow so its good that Im tired. Im going to head to bed soon. Gotta get up at 6.

Poor H is at work tonight and wont get home till about 4-4:30. Looks like he isnt sleeping tonight, lol.

The only part I dont like getting too much sun is my face because it can get burnt-ish.

The rest of me gets dark brown, lol. Im naturally light skinned so people think I burn, but my Mediterranean skin never betrays me.

Cincinnati sucks because they like don't believe in Greek food here or something. Detroit has so many good Greek places and there is no place here where you can get a decent gyro. It makes me incredibly sad.

We tried though today....lamb burgers!

FI's family has some cherokee background and he gets a fantastic tan every summer. He likes to hold his arms up to mine and admire himself, lol.

Oh man, I want a gyro so bad now.

I also want it to be the weekend. H and I are finally getting out to one of the state parks and going hiking early Saturday before it gets super hot. I'm excited. The trail we're going on has this awesome overlook and I want to get some good pictures.

I'm just jumping in. I'm ghostly white right now too. It seems like any days I have off it's raining. I also usually just burn anyway.

Brandi, I did airbrush tan for both shower and wedding, and had good success with both. Very natural looking, minimal rub off, lasted a few days.

Also, evening ladies. I got home from rehearsal a bit ago to an 86 degree house. AC went out this morning, landlord couldn't come until 6 and by 10 still hadn't figured out the problem. Thank goodness we have a window unit in the bedroom, otherwise we would seriously consider going to a hotel.

I'm kinda wishin I was a little tan. Plus my legs have bruises everywhere from my dog, so they look kinda trashy lol. Should look hot at the lake this weekend. Tonight at the dog park this little girl came up to me and like...hugged me. It was really sweet but kinda awkward.
