Savannah Square ceremony

Probably been asked before but since this board seems dead, I'll ask!

Anyone have any advice for having a ceremony in one of the squares downtown? I know Whitfield is popular, but I actually like Orleans square (based on photos). I've seen online that it's $600 to rent the space for a non-resident. Has anyone had a local planner or officiant that has organized that in order to get the $300 resident rate?

If anyone can recommend affordable/reliable chair rental company that would be great too!

  • Yes, if a local officiant or planner books it, you can get the local rate.  

    Before you book Orleans, check the events at the Civic Center to make sure nothing is there.  Otherwise, you'll have a ton of people walking around and no parking.  

    I'm pretty sure Coastal Creative Events has the best prices on chair rentals.  Ranco would be my second choice.
