We ordered thank you's that went with our invites. Is it ok to use the same thank you cards for both the wedding and shower?

    Sure, I don't see that as an issue.  The important thing is that the thank-you notes are written graciously and sent timely.  It doesn't matter what paper or stationery you use.

    As long as they don't have your married name (assuming you take a new last name) you're fine.

    Yes, unless they have your married name on them. What matters to people more is not how your thank you cards look, but that you wrote them out and did it in a timely manner.
