What did you do with all of your wedding cards?

Hi all,

We were fortunate to receive many beautiful cards with sweet notes from our family and friends. Any suggestions for something cool to do with them? Do you know of any services/people that will bind them into a book or something? Right now they're sitting in a bag.

I think I'm going to try this with ours. Even though I am not a sewer or anything like that this looked easy enough to do.

I'm looking into doing a shadow box idea. I've seen a few. This way I can hang them on the wall and they're seen

Most of the cards we got are in the card box we used for the wedding. I saw this cute idea on Pinterest: punch a hole in the corner of the cards and put them on a metal ring. I'm planning on doing that once I find my way back to Michael's.

@AddieCake - did you frame them face out, so you only see the front of the card, or did you open them all up so you can see the notes people wrote? I had never thought of this idea but I'm thinking it would be really nice to put just the notes themselves in a big frame together. Just wondering how others made their collages.

I also really love the book idea! I hadn't even considered what to do with our wedding cards afterwards - great post.

@frenchiekin Face out, and I had to cut some of them to fit so they wouldn't overlap others. I had a moment of sad sentimentality over losing the notes inside, but meh. I get more pleasure out of them this way than if they had remained intact and closed up in a box.

I bought binder clips at staples, and hole punched the cards...voila card-book, similar to this:

My friend did the binder thing it was cute.. my hubby HATES clutter... like any type... We threw them. I knew I'd never look at them again and that's the rule in our house...
