Was it you who said you were going to the wedding at the BMI last Saturday??  If so, how was it?

I stopped by while Atlantic was setting up just to take pics, get ideas, etc.  It was really pretty ! I loved the Christmasy decorations!

Most importantly - how was the food??  I saw they were setting up stations.  I'd love to have them, but still debating on whether it would be too crowded.  We'll probably have a few more tables than they did, as well as a bigger dance floor, so I'm not sure.

Any other details/thoughts you had about the caterer,  set up, etc, would be very helpful! Hopefully I'm not crazy and it really was you that said you were going! :)

    Hi! Yes I went to my friend's wedding at the BMI last weekend and it was awesome! The food was REALLY good, which was no surprise to me since we used Atlantic for our wedding and recommended them to our friends. (Their crab dip is to die for - I could have eaten a bowl of it!!) They did do stations/buffet and I thought it worked really well. All of the food was set up on the perimeter of the room so it was out of the way. It didn't seem crowded. They called up a few tables at a time to get dinner so it wasn't a stampede to get to the food.

    How many tables are you expecting to have? My friend did tables of 10 I think. And there were at least 20. They probably could have been scooted a bit closer together without being to cramped. You could always push the front row of tables back a little to make more room for dancing, and move the cake to the other side.

    Have you booked BMI? I had never been there and we really thought it was a unique and great space for a wedding!! Let me know if I can answer any more questions!
