Flower Girl Dress Ideas

Hello!

My wedding is in September 2015. I am having a hard time finding a dress for my flower girl. I want her to wear a Ivory Dress with an "Burnt Orange" Sash. I am having hard time find the Sash part. Any ideas or places or online stores where I could find a sash for her dress in Burnt Orange? Also need a Burnt Orange Bow Tie for a 4 year old boy!

Thank you all!

You might just try a fabric store to make your own sash.  It shouldn't be that hard if you find the right material

  • Check David's Bridal... we bought a blue sash for our flower girl there.  They also match their colors to Mens Warehouse, so if you find a suitable color, you can probably get boy's bow tie in exact matching color.

Or for sash, you could just do a satin ribbon.  We almost did that instead.

  • I agree with @WinstonsGirl - try fabric stores for the sash. As for bow ties, we got our ring bearer's bow tie at Tie Bar. It matched the GM's ties. Here's a link to the orange boys' bow ties: http://www.thetiebar.com/bow-ties?color=orange&type=boys-clip-on

  • I agree with PPs re: fabric stores/satin ribbon for the sashes.

In addition to Tie Bar, suggested by @tfmrserwin, also try ties.com - I got our ring bearer's tie and GM ties there. They are great in that you can get the same necktie in both men & boys sizes

Here is a link to their orange ties - most of which have necktie/skinny tie/boy's tie/bow tie/pocket square options as well: http://www.ties.com/orange-ties

  • Honestly, sashes should be pretty easy to DIY, even for the un-crafty.
