So it is one week form the summer finale and the big A reveal. Who here watches? Any good theories?

Personally I hope they show us who A is tonight cutting away to black, with all the details as to why next week. But I doubt that will happen.

I have been watching since the beginning and I am beyond ready to know what A looks like. i don't htink we will find out many details until the next season though.

I have heard the theory that A is Wren but I still can't figure out how that would actually work.

I heard that theory too and it makes the most sense out of the many I've read. But I have also noticed that once people have a theory they see clues, whether real or not, just to fit them into the theory.

Plus I think whomever it is, it isn't all going to fit and make sense. There will be holes because it sounds like the creator of the show has been flying by the seat of her pants for a while.

I had to give up on it after one season. I may check to see who A is, though, just in case it's a character I saw during that season.

You ladies watch too!? I have seen theories of Wren being A. But I'm skeptical. I think Cece is red coat and maybe Rhys is Charles. The photo that leaked shows Alison looking at Charles and it's the same hair color as Jason/Rhys.

I was leaning towards the Wren theory, but now I think it is going to be someone we haven't met and/or suspected. They have to reveal a lot tonight and next week because when it starts in the winter is when they are doing the time jump.

Supposedly next week they will show who killed Toby's mother, who hit Allison in the head, who is red coat, who killed Bethany, who is the black widow (black veil), and why A has been targeting the girls. This season hasn't answered any questions though, so we'll see how they end it. I agree there are going to be a lot of holes.

I'd be irked if A is someone they introduced an episode or two ago. I'd rather it be someone that's been on the show for a while, but maybe hasn't been seen for some time, ie Wren, Noel...

I feel like there is a lot left to be explained, but some might just be because we don't know who it is. A lot is going to be filled in when it is revealed.

I gave up for 2 seasons, watched it again this year and turns out didn't miss a thing. Still don't know who A is.

I feel like it wouldn't be as shocking if it weren't someone that has been around for a while, or someone that is new, so it's probably going to be someone we've gotten to know. I don't know which of those situations I'm really hoping for; it would make me feel "better" if they've been gone, but definitely more interesting if they've been there the whole time. I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll finally know who A is, but at the same time, I recall "finally knowing who A is" being advertised numerous times before. I've read a few theories that it's one of the liars; while interesting, I'm not sure how I feel about it or how she would've made it work, even with the listed reasons. Regardless, I still think Melissa has something to do with it or knows who A is - she seems to know a lot. Part of me wants to believe it's Wren, but I too am skeptical about it.

Did anyone see the video that Marlene King posted? She had a shirt on that said "It's No Lie!" And repeated that saying several times during her interview. People are saying that "It's No Lie!" is an anagram for "It Is Noel." Not sure how I feel about that.

I've heard about the video. Not sure about the anagram. I'm pretty much at a point where I don't care who it is but rather wants a decent explanation.

People are getting really fired up on their theories. I read the message boards on the PLL IMDB page and it is getting crazy.

There are those who think it is Wren, those who think it is Ezra, those who think it is Noel...the list goes on and they all see things that fit into their own theories. Though one of the silliest in my opinion are the ones who think Aria is A because she does the finger thing in the opening credits.

I'm not sure if I'm mad or not. I thought it she was A a long time ago, but I discounted her on the fact that she hasn't been around in so long. Not surprised about Sara though. Maybe it's just me but I'm feeling like there was so much build up to this moment that Cece being A is far from where I thought they were going...so much so that I was starting to wonder if there might be a plot twist somewhere.

I finally watched it. Okay. . I always had a hard time keeping everything straight over the years. Why exactly did A target Ali's friends?? Just because they seemed happy Ali was gone? That seems to be a way overblown amount of torture for years just for that reason. Sigh.
ETA if it was all just a "game" then the lunatic deserved to stay in an institution.

The writers basically said "fuck the timeline" and did whatever they wanted. A had no real motive to why she was messing with the girls. Basically what you said @thisismynickname that she was pissed that they seemed happy she was gone and then when Ali returned A kept it up because she got addicted to the game.

Rewatched. Yup, still mad. I didn't trust Sarah, but I just thought she was a minion. Not two villians!

There are so many holes to Cece's reasoning for going after the girls. I feel they decided it would be her and then tried to figure out how to tie her into the clues. I never trusted her, but ruled her out once she was gone over a whole season.
