I came across this article this morning about 4 couples that become friends after they were married. They realized that they shared the same wedding date and when they hit 25 years, together they celebrated "100 years of marriage" and here they are another 25 years later celebrating 50 year anniversaries together for "200 years of marriage"

    Fiance's maternal grandparents had 70 years before Grandma passed away.

    My grandparents were married 61 years when my grandma passed away. She had Alzheimer's so she had to go to an assisted living place and had no idea who my grandpa was anymore, but he still went to see her every single day and would spend hours talking to her. 

    He said he didn't care if she didn't know it was him, because he knew it was her.
