Help! Torn between 2 dresses

really torn between two dresses. love both for different reasons. Not sure if #1 (with belt) has enough wow factor - think #2 might have too much. Would really appreciate honest feedback. For background - my wedding is in upstate Vermont with an outdoor ceremony and barn reception. Rustic elegance theme.

Wow! Both look beautiful. The second one is so unusual. But...you look so happy in #1 so I think maybe that one pips it for me. But #2 is a bit of a once in a lifetime dress isn't it?! So difficult!

I was between two dresses for a while, one more simple and 'classic' and the other more daring and 'out there'. In the end I went for the simple one as I knew I could go a bit more extravagant with my veil, accessories and flowers as the whole thing wouldn't compete. Do you think maybe #1 is more adaptable to allow you to add a different twist?

Best of luck with your choice and enjoy the process! It's so fun shopping for dresses, I'm a bit sad I'm not doing it anymore!

But since you asked...

I vote #1. Do not get me wrong...you look great in both! However, you know the saying about going "daring" with one thing at a time. Like low neck line, then don't wear a mini skirt, or maybe doing backless in a long gown? The second one just seems to have too much going on. I feel like it is wearing you instead of the other way around.

I don't know what "rustic elegance" is, but I don't think either of those dresses matches a barn venue very well. I would keep looking, honestly. There are lots of dresses out there.

If it has to be one or the other, definitely #1.
