  I will admit that we don't shut the door in my house so I've seen H do it a million times. He sits and lifts one cheek- which I find to be the normal way. I don't know what I would have done if I saw him standing hahah

  Fully standing straight up I would find very odd.  But I don't think slightly lifting your entire butt off the seat is strange.  And a plus, you get somewhat of a leg workout while you are wiping.

  I know a lot of things about H, including the fact that he sits to pee about 95% of the time at home (so he doesn't get pee on the floor or the seat) but this is one thing I do NOT need to know about him. Then again, as far he's convinced, I don't poop at all. We're not big on discussing bathroom habits.

  Semi-not really related, but for some reason, when I take a shower, I always ran the water in the bath, checked its temp and then turned on the shower after I'd gotten in the tub. When H and I first moved in together, I needed something out of the bathroom and went in as soon as I heard the shower water go on. He was still standing there - outside of the tub. I was all, " WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" because he's the weirdest guy ever for turning on the shower water before getting in.

  I'm with you @cupcait927.  There should always be a little mystery when it comes to a relationship and H and I prefer that mystery to be our bathroom habits.  There is absolutely no reason or need/want in me to ever see my H wipe his butt.

  Hahaha! My DH told me fairly early on in our relationship (too early for my comfort, to be honest!) that he's a sitter. He wanted to explain it to me because he had heard that most men stand and he was self-conscious about it being weird. This came up because I had complimented him on always leaving the seat down, and he offered that as the explanation for his non-stereotypical behavior. Now I see he isn't the only guy who's weirded out by this!

  But on the original topic - if you're already sitting to poop, why would you stand all the way up to wipe? It just seems unnecessary. I will have to ask H about this.

  Now I do that too. 

  FI and I have shower wars.  I think we both run the water in the tub till it's warm, then turn the shower on before getting in, but FI gets in towards the front (under the shower head) so that he steps right into the water, and I like getting in the back so that I can ease myself into the water. I also like the shower head pointed mostly down whereas FI likes it almost straight back. I also like to shower with the door shut (to keep the warm in) and the light on, and FI likes to shower in the dark with the door open, so that just a smidge of light comes in from the other room. Weirdo.

  I have no idea. I do know he stands up to wipe when he pees. We try not to be in the bathroom when each other is going, but occasionally are when we pee. 

  
  

  Shower - I always turn the water on before getting in and so does H.  It's so cold when you first turn the water on!

  @pinupbride6189 I prefer a combination of you & your FI's shower habits hahaha. I like to get in the "back" side but I like the water pointed straight back.
