Our bridal shower is being thrown by my sisters, an aunt and a family friend later this month. We are getting married in my home state, which is out of town for a lot of guests. Most of the out of towners are not coming, but want to send gifts. Should we open the gifts when we get them? Or, should we wait until the shower?
My thought is that if I sent a gift to someone, I would want to know they recived it. But, is it weird to send out a thank you note before the shower?
