Bridesmaid/Flower Girl Emergency Kits

I'm looking at making DIY Emergency Kits for all my bridesmaids and Flower Girl. I have a good list for the 3 older bridesmaids (asprin, comb, mints, safety pins, pony holders, etc); the typical "emergency kit." But I want to make an emergency kit for the other bridesmaid who will be 11 years old, and the flower girl who will be 6 years old. I know they don't need the same things as the other maids, but I don't want them to feel left out either.
Any cute/fun ideas on what to put in the girl's emergency kits? 
I want to try an avoid things that are "too big" because I already found these super cute clutches (11.5 in x 8.5 in) I want the stuff to fit into. But if everything doesn't fit, things happen :-)

    For all of them? I guess I have just seen emergency kits left and right, and not sure what others have done, and just thought it was a cute idea. Also it isn't costing a lot, the clutch alone is only $4.

    I've been in a lot of weddings and have never needed an emergency kit.  That being said, how about filling the children's bags with crayons and coloring books or activity books?  8.5x11.5 is the size of a piece of paper, so you could definitely fit a book in there.

    My emergency kit had better include a mickey of rum. I'm super picky about purses and would hate if someone got me one as a "gift". 

    If you are set on having an emergency kit, have one for yourself.

    I think so. Maybe one "emergency" basket for everyone, but seriously, people will bring their own combs if they need them. I have a lot of hair and am prone to headaches. Therefore I bring a lot of hair ties and some Advil with me. I think this is one of those cutesy but totally useless pinterest ideas.

    Guilty... I have completely fallen in love with Pinterest and I'm thinking I'm getting all these super cute ideas on gifts and all from it. But maybe an emergency basket would be a better idea, and it would be a cheaper idea as well.

    There's nothing wrong with that at all, just know that if you're on any sort of budget, your money will likely be better spent elsewhere. 

    Would you give someone a four dollar clutch with a bandaid and a few safety pins in it to someone for Christmas? No? Then you shouldn't for your wedding either.

    I just saw them and thought they are super cute, I could always use them for something else. They could be used as a cosmetic bag later. But I by NO MEANS want to sound that I'm being cheap because I have a $4 clutch on a list of items that I'm getting them. I have many other things that I am getting them, including a Coach wrislet.

    For my own wedding and weddings I've been a BM in, I bring my own emergency kit.  It came in handy the last time when the bride sat in makeup :(  So I would just suggest having one emergency kit that you will keep for yourself all day.  Let your BMs know where it is, if there is anything they end up needing and don't want to bother you.

    For the kids, coloring books or some other sort of activity that would keep their outfits clean.  Also, if there is a stuffed animal that will keep the kid settled and entertained, consider allowing them to bring it with them throughout the day.  My nephew Timmy has an elephant named Eddie.  Eddie has kept him calm throughout 3 different weddings and he is a nice addition to our family photos :)

    Yes they are potty trained. The flower girl is 6 and the younger bridesmaid is 11

    FOOD. PUT FOOD IN THERE. 

    Both our flower girls and ring bearers were fading fast after the wedding. Little kids need to eat often. So add some food that you know they like (check with their parents), and keep it with you at the wedding and reception venue. It'll keep you from having grumpy looking 8 year olds in all your wedding photos like I did...

    And really, you just need 1 emergency kit for everyone. Multiple is overkill. Have a bag with some Advil, Tylenol, tooth brushes, toothpaste, floss, TONS OF SAFETY PINS, lint roller, makeup removing wipes, oil removing face wipes, static guard, deodorant and maybe a small hair brush and some red bull.

    I used the safety pins like crazy on my wedding day when my keyhole back kept coming undone and my bustle wouldnt stay up. The girls used the static guard on their bridesmaids dresses. The toothbrush/paste/floss and makeup removing wipes got used that night by myself and a bridesmaid because we forgot to bring them to the hotel. The advil got used for my hangover the day after, and the rest I went through during my honeymoon in a cabin ;). Small emergency kits are always good to have.

    That's what we did.  We had travel sizes of Shout wipes, bridal tape, gum and mints, pain meds, Tums, hand wipes and lotion, boby pins, hair spray, anti static spray, hair ties, etc.  We did use the Shout wipes, Tums, and pain meds. . . can't recall if anything else was used.

    How about some snacks? A few candies / maybe a little box of goldfish crackers. Or just ask their parents what their favorite snack is and stick it in their bag.

    I really think people will bring their own items and these will be a waste. I have been a MOH twice and a BM once and have always brought all of these things. I always bring a lint roller, clothing tape, safety pins, tons of bobby pins and hair ties, at least two pairs of earrings, makeup, hair spray, hair brush, a Tide/Clorox/stain pen, deodorant, breath mints, etc.

    I think a generic basket would be a better idea.

    If you have the extra money go for it, but I see what everyone is saying. I was going to DIY ones for my ladies and then stumbled on these that I thought was cute. Not breaking the bank for me and just something to throw in with their gifts (they also do FG ones)


    I also saw at a wedding that I worked two weeks ago where the bride made little packages of coloring books, crayons, etc. that were age appropriate for each of the children attending. She used them as the child's escort card and I thought it was a great idea.

    these are exactly what I got, both mine have kids and I like how they fit in to any bag, so not necessarily for the wedding and it was a cute add on to what I already got them.
