Republican Debate #2- Who's Watching?

Laughing? Crying? Tuning It Out?

Re: Republican Debate #2- Who's Watching?

  • I'm watching (I'm not really a republican, but I am interested, and I also feel obligated as a government teacher lol)

They can't seem to get off this Iran deal, and they're really overrunning the moderators.  From what I've seen, I'm mildly favoring Kasich and Paul.

  • Ugh  yes!  But a local newscaster favorited one of my tweets so I feel special now!

  • FH banned the debates when he's in the presence of the television. He will grudgingly agree to watch them when it gets closer to the elections. Instead, we're watching this really bizarre "reality" show called Preacher's Daughters on Netflix. This show is only slightly less of a shitshow than the debates.

I will likely watch a rerun when he goes to bed. Are there any pro-choice candidates? Any who have mentioned environmental issues? I was actually pro-Romney and McCain.

  • I wouldn't watch it to learn their positions because I already know that every single one of them has something I disagree with so strongly, it's a deal breaker. So the only reason I'd watch it would be for entertainment value...and its really just depressing that potential free world leaders are such disrespectful drama magnets. So nope.

  • I don't think there's been any mention of environmental issues yet, but that's not really a surprise :/

  • I'm watching. Super liberal here, so I'm somewhere between laughing and screaming at the TV.

    The scotch helps a lot.
  • @hellohkb Nope and Nope!  So far most of the've covered Iran, Planned Parenthood, Trump Vs Fiorina for Business Candidate of the Year, and English as the national language.

Ooh - now we're onto the Supreme Court!

  • I may youtube it tomorrow just because. I'm voting for Bernie but it's good to know whyou I don't want to vote for other people too.
  • Omg so many things to shake my head about... the thing with the vaccines... I mean no one is surprised by the Donald but Is this Ben Carson guy really a doctor?? And the climate change ? They're basically all agreeing that it's not worth doing anything about it? Lol
Also - if everyone is suggesting foreign women for the 20$ bill, since I'm from Germany I would like to nominate Angela Merkel!
    - The stars, like dust, encircle me in living mists of light. And all of space I seem to see in one vast burst of sight.

  • I'm in NOLA right now.  It's restaurant week. Had a great dinner and hit the casino.  So far I'm only $20 down (including the steak dinner + wine for 2).       I will see the highlights tomorrow.

    Sorrynotsorry.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
