I thought I would keep this up even though I was terrible this weekend and am feeling guilty about it.  Maybe this will help get me back on track.  How did you guys do fitness wise this week?

I was boring this week because I couldn't really make it to classes.

Monday: Elliptical 30 minutes
Tuesday: Elliptical 45 minutes
Wednesday: Elliptical 55 minutes
Thursday: Elliptical 30 minutes
Friday: 7 mile walk
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: 3 mile walk

This week I'm hoping for:

Monday: Spin 45 mint
Tuesday: Yoga and 20 minutes of elliptical
Wednesay: Spin 45 min and maybe some elliptical and stretching
Thursday: 30-45 minutes elliptical
Friday: 5 mile walk
Saturday: We will see...we have guest coming so likely just frantically cleaning the house
Sunday: Not sure when the guests will be here until so I'll play it by ear.  Likely a 3 mile walk

ETA - workout changes.

Re: Fitness Check-In

  • LAST WEEK (not so impressive):
    Monday: Short run
    Tuesday: nada
    Wednesday: nada
    Thursday: Short run
    Friday: nada
    Saturday: 2.9 mi run
    Sunday: nada

    THIS WEEK:
    Monday: Run
Tuesday: Massage and light relaxing yoga
Wednesday:  none... leaving to go to Albuquerque!
Thursday: Quick work out in the hotel gym before we head out for the day
Friday: Lots of walking around and maybe a short hike around the trail near our cabin
Saturday: Getting home in the afternoon, would love to fit in a run
Sunday: PiYo or a run (if I don't get it in Saturday).

  • Last week was mostly a fail fitness wise. I got in a run on Monday - approx. 2 miles. And a 2 mile walk on Friday. The end.

This week's fitness goals include getting back on track again with running (after today since I forgot my running clothes). We're trying a bunch of new "healthy" comfort food recipes this week - basically subbing in healthier choices into traditional comfort foods like mac and cheese. And I'm quitting drinking on weeknights again. The wine is disappearing too quickly.

  • Last week's plan and progress:

Monday: Total Tone class - Success!
Tuesday: 45 mins cardio - None.
Wednesday: 2 mile run - None.
Thursday: 45 minutes cardio - 20 minutes cardio
    Friday: Rest - None.
Saturday: Yoga and 2 mile run - Yoga.
Sunday: RUNNING my first 5k! - Success!

    This week's plan:

    Monday: Total Tone class
    Tuesday: 45 minutes cardio
    Wednesday: 35 minutes cardio
    Thursday: Rest
    Friday: Rest
    Saturday: Yoga
    Sunday: Tennis with H

    Thursday - rest
    Friday - CF
    Saturday - CF
    Sunday - rest

Sunday was supposed to be a 5 mile run, so I need to squeeze that in somewhere this week.

    This week:

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • I did okay exercise-wise last week...it was with the diet that I fell apart.  This weekend I had enchiladas.  And pizza.  And a margarita.  And baklava.  And Arby's.  And wine.  And I'm sure some other things too.  Ugh...time to get back on track!

    Last week:
    Monday: C25k
    Tuesday: 1-hour hot yoga
    Wednesday: Rest
    Thursday: 1-hour hot yoga
    Friday: 1-hour hot yoga; C25k
    Saturday: Nothing
    Sunday: 1.5 hour hot yoga

    Plan for this week:
    Monday: C25k
    Tuesday: 1-hour hot yoga
    Wednesday: C25k
    Thursday: 1-hour hot yoga
    Friday: 1-hour hot yoga
    Saturday: 1-hour hot yoga; C25k
    Sunday: 1.5 hour hot yoga

I also have an interview this week at a gym to go back to teaching Zumba!  I'm so excited!
  • @futuremrshistorian - Yeah for the interview to teach Zumba!  I hope you get it!  I thought about taking the instructor class for spin when they offer it next.  I'm no where near the shape I should be in to teach but I figure what the hell, right?
  • My weekend wasn't the best diet-wise, but I worked out a lot to make up for not working out during the week due to my sore throat.

    Last week:
    Monday - Rest
    Tuesday - Rest
    Wednesday - Rest
    Thursday - Rest
Friday - 90 minutes of arms plus elliptical
Saturday - 50 minutes of legs plus elliptical
Sunday - 90 minutes of arms plus elliptical

I count my 90 minute workouts as 2 workouts, so all in all I worked out 5 times last week, but my goal was 6. Not too shabby. My diet could have been better, but it wasn't awful either.

    This week:
Today - depends on if I work really late... but if I don't, I'm going to do 50 minutes of legs plus cardio.
Tuesday - 50 minutes on the elliptical
Wednesday - Train with my BM/personal trainer in the morning and then do 50 minutes on the elliptical in the evening
Thursday - If I work out today, this is my rest day. If not, I'll do today's workout on Thursday.
    Friday - Arms plus cardio
    Saturday - Legs plus cardio
Sunday - Probably 90 minutes of arms plus cardio

My focus is on my upper body because that's what will be seen in my dress.

  • Last week was awful for me too. All I did was about a 3 mile walk on Sunday and Thursday. Somehow I managed to lose 1 pound last week though so I want to lose again!

    This week:

Sunday: I was lazy & skipped
Monday: 30 min JM workout video
    Tuesday: walk
Weds: skip, having dinner with a friend
    Thurs: walk or Blogilates
    Fri: probably skip
Sat: walk or Slim Series workout

  • Last week I ran Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This week I plan to run every day. I got a little sidetracked on my diet but have recommitted for the next 11 days (until my bachelorette weekend). Hoping to lose a couple pounds before then!
