  Thank you, ladies. SIL was with her and DH and I had just put our neice (her daughter) on the plane back to her when we got word. They'd made her comfortable as they could, at least.

  No worries, CM. Entirely my fault for being obscure. Was still a little shell shocked. Even when something like this is expected, it's strangely still a surprise.
