First Anniversary First Comment 5 Love Its Name Dropper
in January 2016 Weddings
Now that we are at the 5 month mark I'm sure we are all getting into the "pretty" part of our weddings! Let's show off our winter decorations as we get them done! I have been playing with the BM bouquets, I want them to be simple with some pop and I don't want to mess with flowers that will die so I went all baby's breath so they will just dry out and look good. Any suggestions?

    More fun decorations! Here's the paper flowers, all the bouquets, my hair comb, tables numbers partially done, and the old box I will use for a card box and have some TLC I need to give it for it to be ready, and escort cards that will get a tag with the names and table numbers.. anyone else have fun things to share? @hellohkb

    Wow, those are stunning. You did a fantastic job on everything. I was so stoked to see the paper flowers and they came out really well.

    Thanks! We all have time, I just wanted to get things mostly done before the holidays hit because things seem to get a bit crazy around that time. What are you planning on doing?

    We are doing wine bottles as centerpieces and table numbers. Three for each table and painting them different colors (maybe some glitter too). Maybe some of those "icy branches" you see everywhere on pinterest. But like you said, we have time!

    Our colors are dark green, gray and cream. What colors is everyone else using?

    @lpeanut0610 that sounds beautiful for a winter wedding! We are doing navy, champagne, and silver with some touches of gold. 

    I am super irritated today! I got the OK to use the oil lamps but stupidly didn't get it in writing.. the lady that said OK is no longer with my venue and the new person pulled the fire marshal into it. they came back and said they did not comply. Apparently he didn't read ANYTHING I told him because we are NOT using kerosene and they DO comply according to the codes he sent back. So I had to conduct experiments, video tape them and send them back to him. Fingers crossed I get the OK otherwise we are back to square one with only 3 months to go.

    @lovemesomemonster OMG! That SUCKS! What a hassle for something that was already agreed upon... I get the in writing part but still. Your colors sound so pretty and I totally want to see pictures of the lamps!
