Reception anxiety

Anyone else totally anxious about the fact that you can't physically SEE the room before the day??  I am having our wedding at the Stratosphere, which I am so excited about! But now the anxiety is setting in!!

Of course I've seen pictures from our wedding coordinator, but they are always top notch and almost seem so touched up.  I would love it if I could see more photos of actual weddings from our venue, but there are hardly ANY photos of any of the private dining rooms for the Stratosphere online which only adds to my anxiety.  

I've pretty much just come here to vent, because at the end of the day there isn't really anything I can do about it except fly to vegas beforehand and check it out - which I cannot afford to do lol.  

Please tell me I am not the only one freaking out about not being able to physically see and picture the venues beforehand??

    If you're really anxious, see if you can schedule in a rush trip for a suite tour. We did it in May and put all my ease aside for the suite itself (we did it with a few different suites, which really helped nail things down for me). My concern now is setting a ceremony time, since we can't confirm the exact time of the room coming available (we're not 100% sure we'll have the room for two days).

    Yes I am in same position although not getting married until October 2016, getting married at Caesars then reception at Stratosphere.. Main reason I went for it was for the views of the strip, would be nice to see if you get any replies from people who have held their reception here who can maybe share some photos.. Also would like to know about timescales for the reception dinner etc and when best for speeches and what not xxx

    @knottie1441748926 so you're also having your reception at the stratosphere? that's awesome! do you know what private dining room you are using?  they recently renovated some of the rooms and chapel so the pictures online that i've found are a little outdated.  I have been trying to find photos of other weddings there, but not many people on the board have had their wedding at the strat so it's a little difficult.  my wedding is august 2016 so as soon as i am back, i am def posting pictures for future stratosphere brides - i know a lot of people shy away from it because of the more inconvenient location, but the views are incredible.   

    For our reception we are just having a dinner so I am not too much help as far as speeches and whatnot, we are not having a DJ or anything like that.  Our dinner will start at 7.  Let me know if i can help out with anything else!
