  • Put engagement / wedding on hold and get counseling.  Do not get married unless you're sure.
  • Having second thoughts on what? I missed your OP - just saw the title before you deleted, but based on the above response I'm assuming it's about your wedding.

Don't get married if you're having second thoughts. Put things on hold, get some counseling, and take the time you need. It's 100% OK to take a step back from things for awhile and make sure that this is what you want. I have a friend who was having major major second thoughts on her wedding two years ago. She and her FI cancelled the wedding, stayed together, got counseling and worked out the issues they were having and now they're planning a wedding again. Putting things on hold while you work out whatever you're going through is not a bad thing.

  • Forgot to quote.

She's having second thoughts about getting married.  Been w/ the guy 4 years.  He's a doctor, they moved away from her family and she is alone a lot since he works all day (doesn't sound like she has a job).  Goes to the gym a lot and then goes out w/ a platonic male friend.  Did say she was texting w/ someone who she thinks she has feelings for.

What should she do?  Not looking for judgement, putting her heart on her sleeve, etc.  Was hoping buying her dress would just make her be ready and forget about her doubts.
  • Looks like she has second thoughts a lot.. :)
