Yesterday I made the deposit for my custom wedding ring at Green Lake Jewelry Works! Below is the sketch. It is a solitaire "enhancer," that will be wrapping around my solitaire e-ring.
It will be a "warm" white gold with 7 blue sapphires (4 on the lower left side, and 3 on the upper right side). I wanted 7 sapphires exactly because blue sapphires are my favorite gem (part of the reason I chose royal "sapphire" blue for the main wedding color), and I wanted the wedding ring to symbolize the 7 years together that FI and I will be celebrating on on wedding day (which is also our 7th year anniversary).
By going the custom route, this is definitely one of our wedding "splurges," but my wedding band was something I didn't want to scrimp on and I really want something unique. I get to see the wax model in the next week or so, but so far Green Lake Jewelry Works (especially Elise, who is my "ring artist") has been an amazing vendor to work with!

Alright, all done being an AW. Thanks for reading!
