Thank you note question

If a guest brought a "plus one" to the wedding (someone who wasn't a significant other), do you include the plus one's name on the thank you note for a gift? Or do you just include the guest that you directly invited?

How was the card signed? If the card was signed by them both, I would write the thank you to both of them but send it to the guest that was invited - assuming you don't have the address of the plus one. If the card was only signed by the guest, thank you note goes to the guest only.
