What's up for the weekend?

I'm getting a haircut tonight. 

DH is going out with friends to watch soccer Sunday night.  I might take the kids to dinner.  That is all we have planned.

    From 7:00 tonight until 11:00 tomorrow morning we're supposed to get anywhere from 4-10 inches of snow, depending on which station you get your info from.  So we have that to look forward to.

    We don't really have plans for the weekend.  I need to figure out what I'm bringing to TG.  I have a few different thoughts, just need to pick one.

    Nothing planned tonight, but I might make a Walmart or Target run, depending on the roads.  We are supposed to get an inch or two of snow and people lose their damn minds the first time that happens for the season.  Tomorrow afternoon we have a 90th birthday party in DH's hometown.  Sunday is church and then the big Packers/Vikings game so we'll be watching that.

    DH and I have no commitments this weekend.  We just need to get the house ready for TG and do all the shopping.  But after two crazy weekends, it will be nice to have no schedule.  

    I won't get to sleep in because DefConn never does. ;)

    Medical poking and prodding begins today with a Mirena switch out. (It will be 5 years in December.) Saturday and Sunday - ??? playing it by ear because i'm not sure how I will feel. The first Mirena insertion was painful /crampy for a few days. Last time, I was only 6W postpartum, so it wasn't too bad. 

    Monday I have to get an EEG and a ton of different neurological/sensory tests. Tuesday I have allergy testing. Wed-Fri I have off work. I'm supposed to go over to a friend's house on Wed for MNO. She has some big surprise planned. She also invited us to TG dinner (not sure if it will be at her new house or her Mom's house). Mon after TG, I have to go for a brain and spine MRI. 

    Need to get some work in (at least 1 project is a "must do" before TG) but I've been feeling so crummy the last few days, I've been procrastinating on it. It won't take too long (maybe a solid 2-3 hours of focused work) but I've been pretty unfocused and woozy, so it's dragging. (Not sure if I'm getting sick, if this is a reaction to not taking a few of my meds because of the upcoming allergy tests, or something else.)

    Morning. This weekend I need to start working on cleaning/organizing the rooms. Since we moved in, things have gotten messy because we'd unpack things and not find a great place for them. We have DH's mom coming in 2 weeks, and while she's not staying with us, they will be over here a few times and I'd rather not have the house looking cluttered. I'd like to go to Home Goods and hit up a few other stores for decor things.

    DD's 2nd birthday is next week and I need to figure out what I'm going to get her. I'm trying to be cognizant of the fact that she will be getting a lot of things from family and that we'll be up to our eyeballs in new toys and stuff between her birthday and Christmas.

    Riding and swim.  Whipping up a couple of casseroles.  Laundry and packing.  Maybe some baking.  I would love to clean out the guest bedroom, because it's become a dumping ground and it's giving me hives.  But we may not get to that.  If it comes down to that or taking the kids to a park/hiking, I think the latter will win.

    Today is National Transgender Day of Remembrance, so I'll be at the event we're having for that tonight.  

    I need to clean my house and do a lot of paperwork this weekend but I'm home and don't have to go anywhere, so that's good.

    Now Little Brother's XGF is Vaguebooking:  "Asking for prayers."  She was still sharing her stupid "Love is..." posts on FB last night, after they ostensibly broke up, so I was a little confused because her posts didn't sound dumped.  But my brother sounded pretty decisive about the whole thing, so who knows? 

    What do you think the grace period is before quietly unfriending her?  I unfollowed her last winter when she was shilling Girl Scout cookies 3x/day, but refollowed her when she was at Disney with my mom and brother because I liked her pics of them. 

    I really want to talk to him, only because I'm surprised by 4 months from closing on a house to breakup.  I'm super curious whether he had misgivings at the time but went forward anyway, or if he was all in and then afterward was like
