Save the dates -- couples not living together

A few of my friends are in relationships with people I don't know. Their significant other will be invited to the wedding. My friends don't live with their SOs. So can I just send a save the date to my friend or do I also need to send a save the date to the significant other, whom I've never met?

  • I would just send one save-the-date for the couple to your friends, but do your best to find out the names of their SOs before you send them.
  • Just send it to one house.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • You send STDs and invites to the person who is invited. Assuming the significant other is only being invited bc they are part of a social unit with your invited guest, then you don't need to send them their own. Sending one to their home, addressed to them, implies they would still be invited, even if the social unit breaks up.

  • Got it. Thanks guys!
