Bustles!! Please Help!

I am going for my alterations appointment this weekend and I wanted to get some opinions on which bustle would look best with my dress. I wish I didn't need to bustle but I don't want anyone stepping on my dress. And unfortunately I am extremely clumsy and don't want to fall on my face while trying to dance.

Its called a "ballroom bustle." There would be hooks placed at the end of the train and their more under the inside of your dress. Your train would just flip under and the dress would look like a normal floor length gown.

The way the fabric drapes to the side would lead to a very nice side bustle.

I had an asymmetric skirt and also used the side bustle. It was fantastic. And they were able to hide the buttons. Not the best photo, but you get the idea.
