been divorced -can we get married in the church

We have both been married before (by justice of the peace) anddivorced .both  HE wants to get married in his families church. I am just wondering if this is even a posibility for us . Any help would be greatly appreciated

    it might be possible, with the proper paperwork and annulments.
    you should meet with your priest to discuss your options.

    To be married in the church, you will need your previous marriages declared invalid and nullified by the church.  Nullification can take a long time, even years.

    Are you both Catholic?  If one or both of you were Catholic and got married outside of the church, you might be eligible for a Lack of Form nullification, which is pretty fast. 

    Talk with your priest, he'll be able to guide you through the correct process.

    Talk to the priest ASAP. A friend of mine found out one week before her wedding that the Catholic Church wouldn't marry her because her fiance (now husband) was divorced- I have no idea why they found this out only a week before the wedding but they were lucky to find a Christian Orthodox Church to marry them.
