Tip-C Cupcakes in North Providence. They specialize in alcohol flavored cupcak  (also offer non-alcoholic) and Asian inspired pastries. Their catering services include candy buffets and dessert buffets. I love their creativity and the fact that everything is made from scratch and the frosting is delicious. We are having about 50 cupcakes, a variety of cheesecakes with toppings, fruit tarts, fruit parfaits, tiramisu, banana cream pie, taro pancakes stuffed with coconut, mango and jackfruit creme brulee. Check their FB for pictures from events.

A&J Bakery on Park Avenue in Cranston. They offer regular, dairy-free and gluten-free items. Very reasonable prices, too. http://www.aandjbakery.net/index.html

    The Bakery Boutique in Smithfield...fantastic!
FI and I had the very delicious task of testing MANY, MANY cupcakes before booking a baker.  And these were the best in our opinion.

AND they have so many pretty stands, towers and pedestals to rent for the displaying the cupcakes :)

    Thanks Ladies!!

We have a taste testing coming up at the Duck & Bunny in Providence.  I love their Red Velvet cup cakes but we'd like to see what else is out there.

^ I think you will enjoy Duck and Bunny! They were moist and delicious.  I didn't care for The Bakery Boutique, I thought their champagne and strawberry cupcake was comparable to super market cupcakes. I also tried a few other varieties. The frosting they use is death by sugar, a hard crisco mix and way too sweet - not the meringue soft subtle sweetness I expected.

    The Cupcake contessa is FANTASTIC!

She will host an amazing tasting, and will do colors/themes, and an extra large cupcake for you and your honey to cut!
