Hey Ladies.....

Here is my issue
Me - father has passed but his widow is alive and my mom is alive
FI - mom has passed dad still around... aunties are like his mom


My mom is pretty flexiable on what she wears... i want her to wear purple or a shade of purple my other colors are silver and pink....

is it ok to ask my dad's widow and FI aunt to wear silver or pink?

my father just passed in may i am trying to keep his widow *she aint my step mother she is 9 years old than me* like she is part of the family we dont always get along.... but i want her there

    Maybe you could give me the 2 color choices and ask them to pick ! Thats what I did with the Moms. They actually liked that I said ok here are the 2 colors..which one you want ? And I was happy with the color they chosed. So maybe something like that !

    personally I wouldn't see why not - it's one of your other wedding colors, si?  it's really nice of you to see that she feels included, that's sweet *sniff*.  are you asking because you think she'd object or because your mom might?

    my mom does not care she is just happy i am getting married lol she likes my dads widow
    i didnt know what the emily post way of doing this
    i am going to ask her and the aunt to wear one of the two remaining colors but thats after my mom gets her dress lol

    so i asked groomzilla if he wanted his aunt to wear the wedding colors and be walked down the aisle... he tells me depends if i am mad at her or not *sigh* this man lol
