So I'm up for this huge promotion at work and the interview is in an hour an a half. I generally interview really well, and I've got my letters of recommendation, my resume with cover letter and my awards in the field all ready to go. I've never been nervous about an interview before, but I feel like I'm going to barf. It's a huge pay raise with more flexibility, and its for management so I have to interview with one of the higher ups that I've only met once. Some other people from my department are applying too, and they have more seniority than I do, but I'm hoping my skills blow them away.
I think I'm just nervous because getting this job would mean absolute financial security for my little family, and kiddo could be pulled out of daycare as FI could completely be a stay at home dad. Well, I guess I should get dressed and put my brave face on. Just wanted a vent with you all!
