After a rough time of moving and getting settled in.. I'm back!!  The actual move was pretty rough - we didn't have any help so we had to carry everything up to our 2nd floor apartment - even the friggin couch.  Thankfully I had a week to recoop because my body hurt in places that I didn't know existed.  Oh, and I guess it didn't help that I tripped and fell on the stairs, breaking my ring finger and ending up with several nasty bruises. 

I wish I could say that I will be checking in as often as I was before buuut my new job starts tomorrow (YAY!) so I guess I won't get to spend my days sitting on here :(

I'm sure I've missed a ton in the last week or so...so if anything big happened fill me in ladies!  I don't have the time or patience to try and catch up myself...

    Yessss!! I did miss you! Sounds like a rough move indeed. I always complain about moving, but broken bones & bruises? Don't think I can top that. Sorry it was so rough, glad you're settled & starting work tomorrow!!

    I'm either really forgetful or selfish, 'cause all I can think about to get you caught up on is that I had an intense 2 weeks in NYC, packed training in Lake Tahoe, and  now I'm with BF for the rest of July :-).

    Goodness Jeter, sorry the move was so craptastic.  Hope your finger and bruises heal quickly!  Glad to hear you are there and ready for the new job to start though, that is exciting!

    Glad you are back and able to check in! GL with the new job starting tomorrow, I'm sure everything will work out the way it is supposed to, but in the meantime relax and have a beer!

    I've missed you! I thought you were moving. Sorry it was a craptastic move but at least it's done and you're finally moved in with FI.

    Yay! Glad you're back. Congrats on your move. I hope you're feeling better soon, I've never broken a finger but I can imagine it's pretty annoying. Good luck tomorrow!

    Baje - I'm glad to hear that things are calm at the moment and you're with FI!  And as far as paint...she never showed back up while I was gone?!? Oh man... that bites.. PPAAAAAINNNNTTTT COME BACK!!

    Hazel - The new place is pretty good I guess.  Since neither of us had really ever spent any time here in Shreveport, we had no idea what areas were good and bad - I think we've picked a pretty decent are to start out in.  Our apartment is bare (we barely have any furniture LOL) but it's clean and the AC works great, so I'm happy!

    Jeter - thinking of you!! Moving is also all too fresh in my mind!! My bruises are gone now though. So glad you guys have your own first together place. : )

    kat - How did YOUR move go?!? My bruises are slowly healing Wink

    Paige - The worst thing of all about the broken finger is that it's my RING FINGER - so I can't even wear my e-ring Cry  But yes, I'm excited about my new job - and a liiiiittle bit nervous, to be honest...

    Aww Jeter we did all miss you terribly but glad you are okay for the most part. Sorry to hear about your finger..owwie..is it feeling any better ? I know how it is to be nervous about a new job but as the others said you will be super awesome :)

    Don't worry too much about the furniture there are so many options to look into! Thriift stores , goodwill/salvation army stores , ikea , etc , just know we have all been there and dont worry too much :) Hope you feel better soon , take care of yourself!
