  I think the veil would be lovely. My daughter wore a cathedral length veil with a fit and flare dress that was a tighter fit and flare. The train was about the same length as the train on this dress. The veil made a beautiful train. It too had lace applique  at the top and was edged in lace. If I were you and the henna is something you want to do, I say go for it.

  What time of day is your wedding, and what level of formality?  Cathedral veils are usually for formal weddings.

  IMO - I'd stick to a simpler veil than the one you posted...

  I really like the idea of the simpler veil like this one - doesn't take away anything from the dress!
