Looking for opinions

I am trying to figure if a hoop skirt/crinoline would make this dress http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/suzi-chin-maggy-boutique-grecian-gown-plus/3159733?origin=category&resultback=0 look more "weddingy".

Thoughts?  Thanks!

A hoop skirt would definitely be too much.  The dress has a narrow silhouette, and hoop skirts are pretty big usually.

A dress like that might do alright with a smaller crinoline (i.e. no 5 layer ballgown crinolines).  Is the dress already a little long?  A crinoline would make the dress a little shorter, since it would add the "poof."

I have a crinoline as a part of my bridal look, and I LOVE the extra poof it provides.

The dress is a little long so I was thinkng some "poof" would help that w/o needing higher heels.  I was thinking something that would "fluff" out the bottom more than anything farther up.

I would look for mermaid-style crinolines, they only fluff out at the bottom, so it doesn't add any poof to your waist/hips.  HTH!

I personally think the dress looks beautiful the way it is. Add a veil and POOF – instantly more “wedding-y”.

Thanks ladies!  I will be trying my dress on again with my MOH this weekend but it might be that it is just fine the way it is; add a veil, some sparkles and color (looking at putting bluse/wedding colors ribbons at the waist).  And I will have a silk shawl made to go with it - made from my mom's wedding dress.

I think I'm over thinking the whole thing.  Part of it is I keep seeing all these pretty dresses and think "I like that one" but with an extremely tight budget I know it's out of my reach.  And I do like my dress, but do I love it...maybe...

Thankfully will be going dress shopping with my MOH and BMd Saturday, so if I don't find anything I like better then I know I did say "yes to the dress", the right one.
