Italian Food - yummm!

Hi Ladies! Have any of you had experience with Carino's catering? We know that we definitely want Italian food at our reception, and of all the caterers we've interviewed, Carino's was the most excited to work with us and had the best prices. Any tips, advice or insight would be much appreciated!

If you haven't had experience with Carino's, do any of you have other suggestions for an Italian food caterer?

    We are going with Carino's for our catering too!  We are working with Craig at the Brodie location, and he has been wonderful so far! 

    Our wedding isn't until November, but we decided to do monthly payments to pay for the catering, which has definitely worked out well for us!

    When we were deciding on caterers, we went to Carino's for a tasting, and they were SO wonderful!  We got to taste several items and make the final decision of what we wanted.  It was the most cost effective, and you really get a lot of food - and for only $10 per person!

    We are just using them for their catering - and renting plates elsewhere.  We are purchasing all the silverware ourselves, then going to wash/resell afterwards since it was cheaper than renting.  We also are providing the cloth napkins, since again, it was cheaper than renting.

    I did go to a wedding in Waco where they catered, and it was wonderful.  Also, my best friend had them for their RD, and it again was great.  I'm happy so far, and I'm sure everything will work out perfect :)

    We considered using Carino's, but when I posed the question to the board there seemed to be mixed reviews.  Some folks loved them and others not so much.  The key complaints were that the food was cold and that they ran out of food.  These were enough to persuade me to keep looking for another caterer and I am so glad we did.  We ended up using Culinary Delights and did an Italian menu.  We received so many compliments on the food, the presentation, and the service.  The best part was that they were there throughout the whole evening making sure water & iced tea glasses were never empty and continually busing the tables so there weren't dirty dishes everywhere.  They were able to provide 5 wait staff, the actual china, flatware, & glassware, and even provided a floral arrangement that matched our others for the buffet.  I loved how easy it was to coordinate with them after we chose them for the caterer.  I would highly recommend meeting with them for a tasting before you make your final decision.
