NJ Venue w/ Portuguese food & nice grounds for pictures

Hi All,

I am looking for a venue that has experience with Portuguese cuisine but also in a good location with some nice grounds for photos.  I have found some but i will not meet the minimum required guests for an in season Saturday night wedding (both Maplewood Country club and The Addison have Portuguese chefs but their minimums are 130 and 150 respectively).  Im going to have about 110 people.  I am also looking for great service, an abundant cocktail hour, and would like to stay under $170pp after gratuity.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

    You will find that you'll probably have to go to a hall that allows outside catering since most of the portuguese halls just don't have grounds.  Call Valenca, E.V.O catering (chef is portuguese)  and see what sites they have worked at in the past.  Goodluck.

    Try the Bridgewater Manor.  A friend of ours was married there and the bride comes from a huge Portuguese family.
