H & I actually went to college together, but we didn't know each other back then. We had some mutual friends, and knew who each other were, but we weren't friends.
He moved here for work, and the first people he met were people I was friends with, so I started seeing him pop up in FB events & such. I was also on Match.com at the time, and he came up - I recognized him, and sent him a message asking if he went to our alma mater. We messaged back & forth & friended each other on FB, but then I started dating someone else (from my hometown, which got me on TK, actually) so that's as far as it went.
My ex & I broke up in the spring/early summer, and I wallowed in my misery for a few months. That fall, H & I started exchanging FB comments/messages about the Red Sox & Patriots, who we're both huge fans of. One Saturday in September, I was home alone, drinking a bottle of wine, and decided "I'm gonna ask him to hang out." So I did. I posted on his FB "I think we need to have an upstate alma mater reunion." He commented back "Just the two of us? Works for me." We went out to watch the Patriots game the next day.... and this is usually when I say "and the rest is history" but it's really not.
I had actually met someone online right around that same time & had gone on a couple of dates with him. When H & I started hanging out, I wasn't sure what the motive was... were we dating? Was he just looking for friends in the area? It wasn't until our third date when we ALMOST had our first kiss that I was like "OMG I really like him. This could be something really real."
I remember texting some of my friends (@swazzle, @csousa1 & others) because the other guy had asked me out for one night, and I was going to go out with him, and then H asked me out for the same night, and I wanted to ditch guy #1 so badly - and they all confirmed that was the best choice - so I did, and that was the night H & I had our first kiss
That ended up really long, but it was necessary!
Travel: I want to go EVERYWHERE. H & I have decided our next domestic travel will be to the Pacific Northwest (I really just want to hang out with @AlPacina & Marv.) and internationally we both REALLY want to visit Scandinavia.
NEY: Technically it was someone who is long long gone from NEY. Then I met @helloliv for the first time when I crashed her house for Thanksgiving (she invited me!) @Swazzle & @csousa1, along with @helloliv, were the first NEYers to visit me!

3. I had two outfits that were the same, but different colors. One was hot pink & the other was neon green, both with black polka dots. It was a top & a skirt, with black leggings underneath.
