Wedding Dress: What is this?

Hello!

Could anyone tell me what this thing does for the wedding dress? And how I can use it?

I'm got my wedding dress from my sister who bought this dress in Japan.
The dress came with this triangle thing, but I have no idea what it does.
I asked my sister, but she doesn't remember since her wedding was years ago.

Thanks advance for your help!!

Re: Wedding Dress: What is this?

  • Are there hooks anywhere on the dress that correspond to the ones on that piece? It almost looks like it would go on the bust, but I've never seen anything like that. Love the dress btw.
  • I have a piece like this for another dress of mine. If it's a corset back (I think it is, from the pick), it's probably an optional piece meant to go behind the lacing of the corset if you want to be more covered up.
  • How is the dress bustled?  It looks like something that would hook onto the skirt to bustle it.

  • with the sweetheart neckline, and the mirrored image on the triangle, my guess is it's an optional embellishment for the front.

  • Thank you so much ladies for your input!!!
I'll try and see if it works as an embellishment or the piece to bustle the dress :)
