All white flowers

I am getting married September 9th and I have this vision for beautiful all white flowers. I am just not sure of types of flowers. I would like to buy my own flowers wholesale and make my own centerpieces/bouquets. Any ideas or suggestions for white flowers that are in bloom in September?

Re: All white flowers

  • I was married in September and used daisies and white lisianthus.  You always have roses as a go to flower.

  • We had all white flowers. I ordered the 20 piece white rose package from Costco for $399, and then ordered bulk white flowers for my centerpieces.

I used white asiatic lillies and white roses, made 2 different arrangements, one low, one high. I had to make 10 arrangements, and it took me about 3-4 hours on Friday morning, the day before our wedding. I couldn't see making the bouquets, bouts and corsages........too much for me, and I like DIY stuff. But others have done it.

While there are "seasons" for flowers in our own yards, bulk floral sites grow them year round in greenhouses.

Here is the low centerpiece, white roses and baby's breath

This is the tall centerpiece, with white asiatic lillies, grass (which came with them) and baby's breath.

If you look at enough pictures online, and find tutorials, you can do this. I've happened to arrange flowers from my own garden for years, so if you have any family members or friends who have done any flower arranging.

Other white flowers to consider: tulips (will be pricey in the fall), carnations, daisies, orchids (also pricey), hydrangea, mums (a fall flower), Queen Ann's Lace (found in fields).

    Good luck.
  • Hydrangeas, daisies, spider mums, dahlias, roses, gerberas and lilies are all available in white in September.

I got married in November and used roses with lillies and hydrangea in my centerpieces.  I did a mock up with tulips but they were too droopy.

I just fell in love with this bouquet when I was searching around. I've loved daisies forever, so I knew I wanted them (and the BMs will be carrying them), but I recently really started loving peonies as well.. and I want an all white bouquet as well, so I fell in love with that bouquet :D

    good luck with your quest!
