VW bus rental

Instead of a limo, I'm wanting to rent a vintage VW bus. Does anyone know of a rental place in Illinois or neighboring states?
All the places I have found are either in Europe or California.

Have you tried calling VW dealerships? Have you contacted any local car rental places? This link is older, but perhaps if you are able to contact the couple in this article, they may be able to help you....
