Engagement ideas!!

Hello everyone,

After a 3 year long relationship, my boyfriend proposed to me and I said a yes!!.And guess what, we are getting engaged soon. Nothing has been planned yet but we both want the engagement to be a grand event. I checked online for some ideas  and found this blog ( http://www.abbeyroadentertainment.com/blog/weekly-event-blog/engagement-party-ideas/ ), where they are discussing about some elegant engagement party ideas and I found it very interesting and unique. The ideas are really nice and I am confident enough that we could actually arrange it  by ourselves and we don’t need to hire an organizer for this. I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried any of these ideas like palm trees and how it was. Any other ideas and suggestions are most welcome.

    Wait, what?  If your boyfriend (now fiance) proposed to you and you said yes, you are already engaged.  That ship has sailed.  You also can't throw an engagement party for yourself.
