How do you calculate how many hors d'oeuvres to serve - pieces per hors d'oeuvres choice, number of veggie plates, number of choices, however you can help me define that - for a wedding?
Our wedding ceremony begins at 1:30pm and wraps up before meal time, and we plan to serve cake, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres/appetizers such as veggie and fruit plates, tea sandwiches, etc., probably mainly from Costco. How do you determine quantity? I read "12 pieces of appetizer for each guest with no main course." I'm not sure whether this means per choice. I doubt it does, but how do you determine how many tea sandwiches, plates, pieces of an appetizer to get? Any guidance?
Also, if you have any suggestions for appetizers to serve, I'm still looking for more ideas!
